High blood pressure is considered to be of the leading indications that you are at risk to have a stroke.
Arm Blood Pressure Monitors
Monitoring your blood pressure using the arm is the most effective method. The cuff fits snuggly on your arm and is tightened to above what you think your pressure might be. After a few seconds the blood pressure monitor will calculate your blood pressure, then release the cuff. It might feel a little tight, but it is not painful. The cuff needs to squeeze tight enough to read your pressure and your pulse.
Below are a selection of arm blood pressure monitors. If you have a larger arm, or feel that using an arm blood pressure monitor might not be right for you, then try a wrist blood pressure monitor.
